MAPO was born in 1985 and this year we are celebrating its 23rd Anniversary.
It was formed with the following objectives:

1. To raise or improve the standard of practice in order to project an image of professionalism.

2. To protect the overall interest of MAPO members .

3. Strive to provide the best primary eyecare to the public.
4. To provide continuous education to all optical practitioners.
